Nebraska Legislature

LINCOLN - LB683e has been passed in the Nebraska Legislature, and Congressman Mike Flood is voicing his support for it.

LB 683e includes provisions that functionally bar Huawei hardware from cell towers in Nebraska and Flood has been an advocate for removal Huawei hardware.

In a statement Flood said Huawei has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party and there’s widespread agreement their technology can be leveraged for surveillance and sabotage communities and military installations.

He said this is a great step forward for Nebraska and a model for other states as they work to protect the U.S. against CCP encroachment on America’s sovereignty.
