LINCOLN - Nebraska hospitalizations will now be available to view after an executive order was signed.
During a press conference Monday Governor Pete Ricketts reinstated the hospital capacity dashboard due to hospital capacities being more than ten percent for seven days due to the pandemic.
"I've signed an executive order that will wave the infectious disease statute so that we will be able display that data and show the county-level data that we had before. This is in regard to HIPPA rules and our laws about how we implement that. I am waving that statute so we are able to display that data again."
The dashboard can be found at DHHS.Ne.Gov. Ricketts also expressed disappoint with the federal government cutting back access to monoclonal antibodies with no explanation.
He added in the state’s veteran’s homes they’ve used the monoclonal antibodies and have not had a single fatality this year.
