OMAHA - First National Bank of Omaha is continuing their support of Wayne State as they have donated $100,000 to their athletic center renovation.Â
The bank has been supporting WSC for over 30 years and has been a big supporter of the college’s athletics. Spencer Danner, the VP of Corporate Social Responsibility, says that they continue to have a strong relationship with the college in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
"We are a staple in the community of Wayne. We look to not only help students be financially prepared, but also offer them job opportunities and growth within our organization."
The money will mainly go towards the Recreation and Wellness Project, which is the renovation of those buildings on campus. Danner says the college is a key leader in driving success in the community of Wayne.
FNBO has also supported the college with their biannual Impact Grant cycle, which will distribute millions of dollars over the years.
