Northeast Hawks basketball teams swept at home by Southeast CC

The Northeast Hawks men's and women's basketball teams endured losses last night at home to Southeast Community College.

The Northeast men fell to 2-5 on the season after losing to the Storm 87-76.  The Hawks' Kanye Raheem had 21 points, Evan Decker recorded a double-double with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and two steals and Chaz Callum netted 13 points and four rebounds.  Southeast led at halftime 43-35.

The Northeast women dropped their game to Southeast 64-54.  The Hawks, who led at halftime 32-24 were outscored in the second half 40-22.  They fall to 3-5 on the year.  Ashley Hassett had a double-double of 19 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals for Northeast.  Teammate Molly Davis added 12 points and three steals.
